About Chris Dorrity
For more than 30 years, Chris Dorrity has been a guiding light in our community — a man of deep faith, compassion, and unwavering commitment to helping others find hope in life’s most difficult seasons. As a life coach and mentor, Chris has touched thousands of lives, offering encouragement, wisdom, and faith-based guidance to those navigating personal struggles, grief, and uncertainty. His heart for people and his calling to serve have made him a trusted friend and counselor to so many.
Chris’s own journey took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with nonalcoholic cirrhosis, a life-altering illness that challenged both his health and his mission. Recently, Chris underwent a liver transplant at Piedmont Hospital — a pivotal step in his fight for renewed health and a future filled with purpose. While the transplant has brought hope, the road to recovery is long and comes with significant emotional, physical, and financial challenges.
Though his ability to work has been limited since July, Chris’s spirit remains strong. He continues to inspire those around him, even from his hospital bed, as he focuses on healing and looking forward to the day he can once again pour into others through his life-coaching and ministry. Now, as he faces this crucial season of recovery, our community has the opportunity to rally around the man who has given so much of himself, offering the same love, support, and encouragement he has so freely shared for decades.
